A Couple of Awards & Thank Yous

I am waaaaay overdue in acknowledging a couple of awards from some very thoughtful bloggers...

Thank you to Shinade of The Painted Veil for this BEE-YOO-TIFUL Butterfly Award! Shinade is not only a beautiful person on the inside and out...she has some very lovely photos on her blog...check them out!

I want to pass this along to Doctah Shoal, founder of the world renowned Hollydale General Hospital, not only for having "the coolest blog I ever knew" but for always keeping his staff (especially the Night Nurse) in stitches!

And thank you to Val, of Life and Vincent, for this Brilliante Award - it's my 5th one! Val's blog is also a photo blog about a certain someones favorite Hump Day Hunk....rrrr-arrrrr!

My good pal Drowsey Monkey received this cute little award from Lady Banana...and has passed it along to little ol' me 'cuz she thinks my blog is FUN TO READ! Thanks Drowsey...if you hadn't given this award to me, I'd definitely being passing it on to you! And since you also passed it on to my current Chaperon, Claire, I guess I won't be doing that either. Fortunately, I only read blogs that are FUN TO READ...unfortunatley I can't award them all...sooooo...I'm passing this award on to my two previous British Chaperons ~ Diary of a 70's Teen and Daddy Papersurfer ~ because their blogs are indeed...FUN TO READ!

Corrine, of Jafabrit's Art, just BLOWS ME AWAY with her artistic talent and endless, creative endeavours! Every time I check out her blog, there's a new and exciting project she's working on - the likes of which I've usually never seen before! I was lucky enough to hang out with Corrine and her awesome Knit Knot Tree a few months ago, and despite my little run-in with Johnny Law....we've been bosom buddies ever since...because "Life is too short to be getting yer knickers in a knot!" Thank you for that BRILLIANTE quote and this BRILLIANTE Award Corrine!....I am honored to even be listed among your talented recipients!
